About Me
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California for nearly 15 years, and I have over 25 years of experience in behavioral health. I’ve worked in several different settings over the years, including community mental health, substance abuse treatment, and an outpatient psychiatry clinic at a large HMO. In such settings, I have had the privilege of serving adults from a wide range of cultural and economic backgrounds—a truly rewarding experience that I continue to value in my private practice.
My Approach
In our work together, you’ll find a collaborative approach grounded in respect for your unique journey. I believe that each person holds a deep well of wisdom, and my role is to help you access that inner guidance while developing skills for meaningful change. Drawing from techniques in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, I tailor our sessions to your needs and goals.
In sessions, I am authentic, curious, and calm, creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted. I work from a culturally responsive and trauma-informed perspective, so you can safely explore your challenges, stay connected to your values, and move confidently toward the life you envision.
